This short film features a princess who finally decides to split from her misogynistic prince charming. She instead sets her eyes on the handsome dragon who lives next door. You can watch this spin on classic fairytale storytelling on Sunday, 11th of April as part of the show “Siebenstein” on German TV again. For more information and images check out the film’s website: princess & dragon
In the course of the last stressfull weeks before the Christmas holidays, the ZDF shows two of our short films as part of the children’s series ‘Siebenstein’. It starts with ‘The Princess, the Prince and the green-eyed Dragon’ on December 1st. Our first short film ‘Torvald and the fir tree’ will be shown on December 12th. Both episodes start at 6 am.
Our shortfilm ‘The Princess, the Prince and the green-eyed Dragon’ by Bin-Han To and Jakob Schuh will be shown at this year’s O-TONi Filmfestival for Children and Teenager in Breest, Germany. It will be part of the Animation Shortfilm section supported by AG Kurzfilm starting at 14:00 CET on August, 25th. If you pass by Burg Klempenow, you should consider to attend – a castle seems to be a proper location for watching a movie about a princess, a prince and a green-eyed Dragon.
If you haven’t had the opportunity to watch our latest shortfilms yet, you can make good for that soon. Within the next days, KIKA will show ‘Die Prinzessin, der Prinz und der Drache mit den grünen Augen’, ‘Das Bild der Prinzessin’ and ‘Schrecken ohne Ende’ within the children’s series ‘Siebenstein’:
Thursday – 18/07, 9:10am – ‘Die Prinzessin, der Prinz und der Drache mit den grünen Augen’
Friday – 19/07, 9:10am – ‘Das Bild der Prinzessin’
Monday – 22/07, 9:10am – ‘Schrecken ohne Ende’

If you’re in Switzerland this September, you can catch Soi’s “Princess+Dragon” (we’ll spare you the much longer german title today) at lovely FANTOCHE.
Production has finished on Soi’s latest short for ZDF’s “Siebenstein” last week. In an amazing six weeks the lovely Adeline Grange, Benoit Tranchet, Bong Nguyen and Florian Parrot did a wonderful job bringing to life an emancipatory tale about a princess, her husband, and a dragon with a plan. The directors Jakob Schuh & Bin-Han To and all of studio soi would like to thank the entire team!
